[評 価]91-93点 There is more whole bunch (70%) in the 2016 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru les Champonnets, the highest used by the domaine in this growing season. Now this has a very mineral-driven bouquet, terse and linear at first, though the fruit soon comes to the surface―blackberries, briary and a hint of cassis. This is very seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well-judged acidity, quite sappy and Saint with hints of black olive and oyster shells towards the finish that carries good weight and persistence. It will need 3 or 4 years in bottle, but it will be worth the wait. Expect it to land at the top of my banded score. 234, The Wine Advocate(30th Dec 2017)
